Taskforce update
National Aquaculture Development Committee Report
The NADC report to Government and Industry
on impediments and opportunities for the Australian aquaculture
industry is now on the AFFA website and can be viewed at the
link below. Industry and Government are currently preparing a
response to the NADC's report and will hold a high level
industry roundtable to consider the report's recommendations.
The industry roundtable will be held on Friday 23 August and be
chaired by the Minister responsible for fisheries and
aquaculture the Senator the Hon. Ian Macdonald.
Sustainable Aquaculture
The sustainable aquaculture working
group's report to the Prime Minister's Science, Engineering and
Innovation Council (PMSEIC) 31st May 2002, which is also being
considered at the industry roundtable, is available at the link
below:
