AquaVision 2004 Dates Announced

Arrangements are in hand for the fifth AquaVision conference, in 2004. The date and venue are fixed and a program is being developed.

AquaVision 2004 will take place from June 22-24 in Stravanger, Norway, and will bring together the leaders of the aquaculture industry with politicians and regulators, investors, customers - including retailers and processors, researchers, issue groups, media and other stakeholders from over 25 countries on five continents.

Key objectives are to exchange information and ideas, to identify and discuss future challenges, to debate and decide, and to advance modern aquaculture as a sustainable source of healthy protein food that meets the requirements of the consumer, the environment and society at large.

AquaVision 2004 again incorporates the FAO Eastfish Salmon Summit, as in 2002. It is organized by Nutreco Aquaculture, together with FAO Eastfish, BASF and Fish Farming International and Seafood International.

This unique global business forum will take place in Stavanger in the south of Norway. A first-class conference venue has been reserved in readiness, located in the heart of this charming city - a center for modern aquaculture with long-established connections with fish and fish processing.
