Midlands Aquaculture wins
Silver at Royal Easter Show |

Midlands Aquaculture
won Silver last month at the Royal Easter Show's
Regional Product competition in the fine food
section. As no Gold was awarded, the Midlands
trout fillets were the best from the Eastern
States of Australia.
Midlands won their
division in the 'Fish Products' with an entry
comprising of Hot Smoked Rainbow Trout Fillets. |

Aquaculture is the country's most northerly trout
producer, located in Guyra. The Sole family who
operate "Midlands” pioneered new methods of trout
raising, processing and smoking to become the
premier trout producer in the New England.
Midlands products are keenly sought after in the
New England and are distributed to restaurants,
seafood centres and fishermen's co-ops. Their
smoked trout products are used in major hotels in
Brisbane and the Gold Coast and also feature in
menus on the Great South Pacific Orient Express.
