Handy Website
In amongst all the clutter of the internet, there are sites around that provide the web surfer with handy tools or information resources. One such site that I recently found that is of value is OnlineConversion.com This site allows you to convert almost anything you care to name to anything else. There are over 5,000 different units and 30,000 different conversions that can be made on this website. A large number of the conversion tools on the site are of value to those involved in aquaculture, such as: volumes, temperature, weight, area, pressure, flow rates, etc, etc, etc. Well worth adding to your favourites. www.onlineconversion.com If you know of any other website that provides a valuable resource that would be of interest to others in the industry, let me know so we can share it  webmaster@growfish.com.au

Editors Comments
The lack of news from the Asian regions is conspicuous by the almost total absence of material this month. SARS appears to be the primary culprit for this dramatic downturn in article availability. As reported in the article Sars outbreak having a most unexpected impact on the Australian seafood industry the effects of SARS are being felt within all industries including Fisheries and Aquaculture.
The release of the new Growfish Portal is subject to delays due to several technical issues and some fine tuning of the software. An update will be available here shortly.
